What Bhavyaruni collects, why, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it.
This is a summary, not a contract. Bhavyaruni is a demonstration product. In a live deployment this page would carry the full executed document, with a version history and an effective date. The substance below reflects the commitments the product is actually built to keep.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and the organization you belong to if you were invited by one.
- Learning data: which courses you started, how far you got, assessment attempts and results, and the certificates you have earned.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and diagnostic information such as browser and device type, used to keep the service working and to find where it is failing people.
- Content you create: notes, assignment submissions, discussion posts and, if you are an instructor, the courses you author.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not use your content, your learners' work, or your analytics to train AI models — ours or a third party's. This is contractual, not a setting.
- We do not use dark patterns to obstruct deletion. An export and a deletion request are both self-service.
Your rights
- You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time from account settings, without contacting us first.
- Where an organization administers your account, some records — completion of mandatory training, for instance — are retained by that organization as the data controller. We will tell you which records those are.
- Exports are provided in open, machine-readable formats. You do not need our permission or our software to read them.
Retention
- Learning records are kept for as long as your account is active, and for seven years afterwards where a regulated organization requires it for audit.
- Diagnostic logs are kept for 90 days. AI interaction logs are kept for 12 months and are scoped to the tenant that produced them.
